Watch this, Gauti vs Watson and Katich. Gautam Gambhir has been banned by the ICC for 1 test match. His appeal against the ban has been rejected by ICC. As expected, Shane Watson was penalized only 10% of his match fee. Simon Katich has not even been reported for his “mental disintegration”, aka sledging, tactics.

Watch this video closely and you will see how well the Aussies play “in the spirit of the game”. If this is what they call a “gentleman’s sport” then Australia should be banned from playing any form of cricket, their Test status should be stripped, and all the trophies that they have won should be returned back. If this was the military, Australian players would have been court-martialled a long time ago.

Watching the video, right before the elbow incident, when Gambhir was about to complete his first run, Watson raised his hand in a fist as if to smash Gambhir’s face. Well how about that. Indians should do exactly the same thing. They should start mocking fist fights with the Aussies. As long as there is no physical contact involved the ICC can just stand there and watch, as they always seem to do whenever a non-Indian player makes a transgression.

Gambhir should have been punished for making physical contact. But what about the one who provoked him. See no evil. Hear no evil. Good on you ICC (:P). The outrage really is due to the fact that only Gambhir has been punished. Why wasn’t Shane Watson penalised more than only 10% of his match fees? ICC is run by morons for morons. Its as simple as that.
