A blistering 47 from 19 balls by Sehwag swept the Challengers away. A task made easy by some tight bowling from Mcgrath and Maharoof. Gautam Gambhir continues to lead the most runs scored list. 19 year old S Goswamy was the only positive from Royal Challengers.

Virender Sehwag gets a second consecutive duck. Yet, the Delhi Daredevils win a closely fought battle. Terrific batting from Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan. Disappointment yet again for the Deccan Chargers.

A debut to remember. Shoaib Akhtar demolishes Delhi in his IPL debut in a low scoring match. 4 wickets to Akhtar announced his presence in the Twenty20 tournament. A first ball duck to Sehwag and now Daredevils have lost 4 in a row.

Sweet revenge for Rajasthan Royals as the Delhi Daredevils lose another match making it 3 in a row now. Terrific all round performance from Shane Watson as Delhi fail to defend again.

The battle of the top two teams in the league. Delhi were victorious in a comprehensive 8 wicket win. Sehwag was in his devastating best as he thrashed the bowlers all over the ground. Gambhir went on to become the leading run scorer in the league with Sehwag now second. Terrific bowling from the visitors helped restrict the home team to a competetive 169. It was always going to be difficult if either Sehwag or Gambhir got going. Unfortunately for the Super Kings, both of them did get going.
